First Tooth

It's official.

After many months of teething, Libby's first tooth is arriving.  It has broken the surface of her gum and the one next to it is right there, too.  It's her front right bottom tooth and I thought I saw it this morning - in went my finger and there it is!  Then I did a closer visual inspection and it was further confirmed.  Bittersweet.

But I am so proud of her overall positive attitude through the teething ordeal.  Some days and moments are harder than others, but she has been so tough through it all!  While I do think that it has affected a few naps, she hasn't been waking up at night about it or anything.  Also, she has been enjoying her toothbrushing experiences.  Let's hope that keeps up.

How strong?  Too strong!

  1. Yay for Libby! And I hope it continues to be a non-event in terms of pain, etc. Charlotte is currently cutting all four of her canine teeth at the same time, and it hasn't been particularly pleasant!

  4. I saw her tooth today. So cute! And pretty sharp, too! Any finger or thumb that's available for gnawing, will be. Another huge milestone. Growing up so quickly. And, I second Libby's attitude about it. She is just such a sweetie. Had a really, really good fun day today. Love, GiGi
