It's the new motto for Lowe's and it's quite a clever way to keep you changing stuff up all the time at your house and spending money. I wonder if they do product placement on Pinterest (because if they don't, it's a missed opportunity!) That site is a giant time suck and money drain - but nonetheless, the motto is a good one.
The last week has been busy as usual, but I was out of town for a large part of it. Libby got to stay with GiGi and Papa since Michael's working so much and I got to see a lot of friends in our other office location. It's always very busy there though and I didn't get to do a few of the things I hoped to do. Oh well, there's always next time!
Here's a morning photo of her with Papa! She got to help GiGi cook (she LOVES to help in the kitchen and is very meticulous) and hang out with some of GiGi's friends, too.
Cute Libby things lately are... well... everything. Still into bugs. She even likes to touch them! She also like coffee (I allow her a few sips of my cold coffee), but sadly, she is not into any seafood that I've given her except lobster (and I haven't tried that lately... so maybe not anymore?) Her tastes are definitely developing and changing these days, but she's pretty good about trying things even if she then decides she doesn't like them. She does, however, like Thin Mints, Tagalongs and Samoas (our Girl Scout cookies of choice). They have all been deemed, "hunny." She's a climber, gallop-er, leap-er, who always has time to stop to smell the flowers, touch the bugs and pet dogs and people she loves. She's on a "Finding Nemo" kick at the moment, but isn't watching nearly as much tv at the moment as she was insisting on during the potty training time. It's like she's rediscovered many of her older toys too, which is really fun.
On another note, Michael just told me the dessert at his work dinner tonight was, "a pile of Marie." Apparently it was a blueberry-heavy dish that I would have loved (but is anyone else now picturing Violet from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" or is that just me?) I guess I'm sad that I missed out? Oh well, time for some Girl Scout cookies!
And the blog title, "never stop improving?" Well... it motivated me to blog again, right?? Actually, we have improved the house with some new windows! (Of course, that's not quite over - another issue I had to deal with upon my immediate return from out of town - and I also refinished the top of our kitchen table!) So, improvements.
