We've Found It!

We've found the movie that Libby LOVES to watch and does not star Libby!

It's "The Many Adventures of Winnie-the-Pooh!"

Kicking back, watching Pooh.

My Aunt Toni absolutely LOVES Winnie, and while I've certainly always been a fan, I think Libby's fan-dom approaches Aunt Toni's.  And thank goodness, because she's been teething for the last couple of weeks (getting her canines in) and they have really been irritating her.  Winnie and blankie always help, though.  We've actually gotten some good daytime cuddling in while watching the Pooh and his friends.  "...so I say, 'Hip, hip, Pooh-ray for the Piglet and the Pooh!'"

She's also figuring out time-out and that it's not a game, but instead something you don't want to have to do.  We don't have to use it often, but sometimes it comes into play.

We spent Labor Day in Rome last weekend, well, Libby spent Saturday afternoon through Monday while Michael and I went to the UGA v. Boise State game and were annoyed by an extremely obnoxious and drunk UGA fan (really guy - it makes us ALL look bad).  However, we did get to hook up with some friends before the game and had a good time despite the tragic loss.

With Katy and Sheridan!
We had a very nice and relaxing time.  It's always wonderful to get to love on your baby without thinking of 100 things you need to do at your house while being pampered by your mom with delicious food and hospitality.  She even went shopping with me to TJ Maxx to be a great reference for clothing needs and decisions!  I look forward to the day that Libby really enjoys shopping with us, too!  (She napped at home during this excursion.)

Boy she's growing up fast!  Can you believe that she turns 20 months on Thursday?!  Unbelievable.

In other unbelievable news - how is it possible that Nick at Night is now airing "Friends?"  Shouldn't we still be seeing reruns of "Dragnet" and the like on that station?

  1. It's true. We are getting old. I wish they'd still show Dragnet and such. My students, college freshmen, were born in 1993. Ouch.
