His present to us for his birthday was having his last feeding at 10:15 p.m. and then not waking until 6:40 a.m. and 6:53 a.m. for the last two days/nights.
He has a lot to say when he's awake and loves having you talk to him, too. He does like a bit of attention! However, he's also great about drifting off to sleep as long as you catch him before he's over-tired.
Gigi came to be with us since Michael was gone for the night, but he didn't have any negative reactions or problems, thank goodness! And today, he accompanied Libby (and Gigi and me) to the "big playground!" I was so glad to be able to go with Libby. The weather was a bit cold, but sunny and therefore quite pleasant! We all had a nice time and he got a pretty good nap in, too.
We even went to Augusta and back this past weekend for my friend-since-elementary-school, Louisa's wedding and he slept nearly the entire way down after he talked to me for a bit. (Yes, I was wedged between the kiddos in the back seat. Cause fortunately, my mom went with us to take care of them while we were at the wedding.) How much you wanna bet they save the nightmare trip for when we're on our own? Time will tell... And on the way back he only cried the last 15 minutes - and with our stops on the way back, that's about how much extra time we were in the car, so we thought that was pretty good!

While in Augusta, Libby got to play with friends Ansley and Lily while we stayed with the Fullers and went to the wedding. She decorated gingerbread houses... and Matthew took a snooze...
We went to the wedding and had the first time experience of pumping in the car. At least it was nighttime and dark!
Libby was ready for the full gingerbread houses there after making gingerbread cookies and decorating them with Mimi and me on Friday.

Matthew cheered us on!
Finally...
Of course, last Wednesday, we had Libby's great school program! We've watched it several times since the event itself. Libby, upon watching it with Daddy the second time last Thursday, hopped off his lap and said, "I don't have time for this," and moved on with other pressing activities.
Isn't this boy and his ensemble cute?!
And you can see that Commissioner concerns herself with his well-being as much as she has with Libby.
Dec. 18 - Matthew finally visited my office in this outfit last Thursday. He was a hit, even if he was the teeniest bit fussy. My fault- it was nap time and he was tired! But it's tough to time at the moment since I haven't done a ton of bottle use.
Tomorrow we get to have her class Christmas party at school! Her friend Kira's mom and I are doing the party and I'm so excited!
