A minute-by-minute account of our days in not really necessary though, is it?
That said, a week and a half ago, Libby, Mathy Boy and I met Oma and Ty for some fun at Champion Kids and lunch at Chick-fil-A. It was great to have Libby back at her favorite gymnastics spot, because despite the very cold winter that kept us indoors quite a bit, we hadn't been together in months. She was thrilled to have her good buddy with her, and I was, too! They play together so nicely now.

Almost every morning, they hang out for a few minutes together on the sofa and take in a few minutes' worth of whatever movie Libby has started watching.
Sometimes, if we wake her up from her nap in the afternoon, she'll ask me to put him in the bed with her and they can just stay there. I'm then ordered to leave. Usually I will for a minute or two. Nearly every day she asks for him to nap with her, too.
In similar sweetness, she asked Mimi while we were in Rome a few weeks back why we "only just had two kids." Mimi, knowing Michael's feelings on the subject and mind, told her, "God gave Mama and Daddy one precious little girl and one precious little boy - one of each." Libby told her, "But I want another precious little girl and precious little boy." Awwww!!! It almost makes me want to give her them. Instead, I encourage Libby to have as many children as she feels she can handle, afford, etc. when she is much older and married. :)
I think as of yesterday, that she is just about finished with this growth spurt. She's been so tired, and while it's wonderful that she eats quickly and even asks for more, it was really taking a toll on her this time. Also, suddenly her 4T clothes really fit (except they're still large in the waistband)!
Our cousins came for a fun night last week. They came in the afternoon and spent the night and morning with us. Ryleigh (who will be four in June) and Libby played and had a ball together, and Savannah was amazing with them and with Matthew. I hope we get to visit them this summer!
Other family visited briefly on Palm Sunday while we also enjoyed the day with the Gordons. Aunt Mildred, Uncle HL, Beverly and Charlene dropped by to see us and meet Matthew on their way from visiting Mema Mabel in Rome back home to Savannah.
Libby was mainly busy taking care of Papa's turkey, though. She fed him, bathes him several times, played and generally took great care of his turkey decoy for hunting. She told him that, "If he caught any turkeys, bring them back to her yard to take care of." You know, she told Sarah a few weeks back that she wants to be a nurse when she grows up. She's definitely nurturing enough! We also asked her about being a doctor like Papa. We explained some of what both professions do and she stuck with nurse. She also reluctantly agreed that she might like to be a lifeguard at the pool for a summer job when she's in high school.
She also finished up swim lessons for this session last week.
She is ready for the summer!
