Michael was out of town, so we snapped a selfie so we could let him know what as going on down here with us.
Libby also wanted to take one of the whole lunchroom for him.
And Matthew was charming as ever.
And I got to do some great tickling of John Luke!

It was fun to see some of the classmates, and Libby was obviously thrilled with my surprise visit, so that was heartwarming for me. Sweet girl! A few kids asked for my help with opening various lunch items, so I guess I helped out the teachers some, too. A few other parents were around for lunch, as well. Since it was all of 10:15 a.m. I didn't eat anything but the kids all seemed pretty hungry by then! A little girl in the preschool class named Peyton, was sitting across from Libby, and she was also next to those from her class, including Royce and Henry. I also got to meet the notorious Brianna. All of the kids seemed quite chatty and had lots to share with me. They were so cute!
Libby told us the day before that she hand helped Peyton with some things, and Peyton's teacher stopped by to tell me how sweet and helpful Libby is with Peyton (who has Downs syndrome). It warmed my heart to hear that sweet word from a teacher about my B girl. She's doing great as a student, but it's just as important - or moreso - to know how she is developing as a person. What a sweet, sensitive girl. I am more proud of her every day.
This weekend she has shared an activity they did in Science lab last Friday, where you hide an object in a bag and give it to another person, who then has to give one clue at a time about the object until the other students guess it correctly. So Michael and I got to play a couple of rounds of that with her today!
Also last week, we made individual pizzas out of leftover ciabatta bread rolls, while Daddy was away. It's amazing how quickly they eat pizza - especially their own creations!
We also lost another of our chairs with our patio set last week after all the rain. So now we are down to:
Guess next Spring there won't be any putting off a new patio furniture set!
Saturday was John Luke's second birthday party! We were sorry to miss the Fullers this year, but it was rather small, and just relaxing and fun. I think it was my favorite birthday party ever. I didn't get a lot of photos, but I did want to get one with our babies!
Of course getting them all in the same area, looking at the camera, and still was a challenge, but I got this one.
And look how huge Ryan is these days! I bet despite his length, these moments are too rare for his Mama.
John Luke was in the party spirit, and Mickey's clubhouse was the theme, so Matthew and Libby loved that, too. John Luke has fun partying with Michael, too!
And Matthew was charming as ever.

Matthew still loves talking on the phone. He insists on getting his own "vibabmin" in the morning, when Libby takes her vitamins. He's very friendly, and police. He talks folks to , "Have a great day!" And when he's not saying, "No" for no good reason, he's generally quite agreeable, "That'd be great," or "That's so nice" are frequent phrases. We have been having to pull up YouTube videos of "Honey, Honey" by Abba on the computer, since that's his favorite song. But mostly he is just finding ways to hear or make music a lot of the time! He also likes to eat, "dohn-duts." (Donuts, of course!)
He also does the head-tilt, and says surprised, "What?!" He loves Mickey Mouse, Daniel Tiger and Curious George. And he loves reading.
Last night, the kids were playing in their playroom and he pipes up with, "Go Dawgs!" And Libby, totally on her own and unprompted as well, says, "Sic 'em, woof, woof, woof, woof!" SO VERY PROUD!
What sweet little babes.
