Libby's school Christmas program was another hit this year, on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2014. The four year-old program was similar to the three year, but it was at night and there were a few different musical selections.
The kids were precious as always, and Libby not only made it to school that day, (but skipped Playball) but also made it to her program, with Daddy, Mama, Gigi, Mimi AND Matthew in attendance. While we waited for the little performers, Matthew decided several times that he'd like to perform on the "stage" (at the altar).
Libby was quick to begin searching for us when she arrived...
Then, it was on with the show! You may notice that Libby was just a bit tired, but we were just glad that she made it after a rough week! Almost the whole class had been out two or more days with illness that week.
The set list was:
"Jingle Bells"
"Frosty the Snowman"
"Feliz Navidad"
"The Dreidel Song"
"Away in a Manger"
"Joy to the World"
"Go Tell it on the Mountain"
"Up On a House Top"
"Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer"
"We Wish You a Merry Christmas"
Libby did many of the motions along with the music and it was such fun to watch her (and her friends) again!
The many performers headed to the Parish Hall for cookies and juice following their fine program (don't call it a performance, according to Libby!) And we got her photo enjoying her treats with her teacher, Ms. Shannon, and her best friend, Kira!
It was a fun and special night, and I can't wait to see Matthew's performances in coming years. Libby was then looking forward a great deal to her class Christmas party!
...and then of course, there is still the "100 days" party to look forward to.
And perhaps there was another opportunity for some fun even before those events!
