Mom, Mema and I hosted Sarah’s baby shower at the end of June. (Along
with help from Aunt Toni and Uncle John, who graciously loaned their house for
the occasion and helped make sure we had the needed supplies and took care of
some last-minute food issues.)
Juan didn't stay for the entire shower - nor did any of the guys, but we got some nice photos with them beforehand!
Mom made this precious diaper cake!
The baby’s decoration theme is beach/whales/tropical, so the
cake, invites and lots of gifts and clothes went with that theme.
I think Sarah enjoyed it, and she certainly received some
nice things for her baby burrito!
We’ve given a good number of our supplies, but there are
some things we had given away already and other things that you just need or
want new for your own babe! She got a car seat/stroller system, LOTS of
previous clothes, as well as a tub, blankets, monitor, bath soaps and grooming
supplies, a rock & play, travel bassinet, and more!
She has been on some bed rest lately to help baby gain
weight, since for her job she was on her feet and on the go for hours and hours a
day.
I know she’s in good hands though, because her doctor is the
same as mine who delivered Matthew and Libby. She’s also seeing a specialist
since she and baby are just little things.
Libby enjoyed her special tiny tea sandwiches...
We know he already has a full head of hair, and we pray for
a full-term, safe delivery for Mama and baby. Can’t wait to meet our little
burrito!
