Libby had a ball climbing on her favorite equipment, exploring an overlook at the creek, eating and making new friends. Mostly, though, she climbed and slid.
And you can watch her in action, too!
But today was the BIG EVENT! Her first school performance, a Valentine's Day program that both two year-old classes performed together (since they do lots of things together, including music and playground time each school day.) We didn't know what to expect, except that we knew it would be fun and cute! All the parents arrived early, waiting for our little ones in the sanctuary. Michael and I chuckled about some of the remarks and nervous parents, but we were really prepared to enjoy Libby and the class, no matter what they did. We knew we would be entertained! We were NOT disappointed, either!
Of course, I had to get a couple of photos before we left!
The class was brought in by Ms. Lisa, with help from all the other teachers and school director.

We even had a reception with juice and cookies after the big performance, which was also adorable and Libby was quite fond of the cookies. Shocker, I know.
After the big performance, Mama and Daddy gave her some special flowers for entertaining us so well, too. AND Libby's teachers were kind of amazed, too. You can see from the photos how great she was at participating with the group! She pretty much never sings in class, as I've said and rarely does the hand movements. She told us that she would do them for the performance today and she didn't let us down! What a girl! A couple of the younger ones had a bit of a rough go, but all-in-all, the entire class did quite well and they were all adorable as we knew they would be!
We also took her to a special Chick-fil-a lunch to celebrate! What fun!
Here's the video for your viewing pleasure. It was actually pretty long, so make sure you have a few minutes to enjoy.
We are so proud!

So cute... what a big girl...
