Ryan came over last Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010 for his first play date with Libby. We had some tummy time together and they were so cute lying on their backs and looking at the toys and things hanging above them. (It's amazing to watch Libby becoming more and more interested in the toys). They also held hands a couple of times for a few seconds. Okay, so it was more accidental than on purpose, but who cares about that?!
But when it came to tummy time, not everyone was a fan that day. Libby was into it. Ryan, not so much this time. But they still had fun!
So, Ryan decided to sit up so that Libby would have someone to crawl towards as a goal, and cheered on her hard work!
The day was such a success that their next play date is this Thursday!
We also had her one month doctor's appointment today. Libby is now 8 pounds, 9 ounces and 21.5 inches long. Today's comment from the doctor was that, "You have the perfect little daughter, Mommy." Uh- tell me something I DON'T know! And he commented on how good she was during her check-up. She was also a trooper for her shot. She cried, but settled down quickly. I think it was harder on my mom and me than it was on her!

Love this post! They are so cute together! Ryan definitely was not a fan of tummy time that day, but the blame should be on Mommy for not allowing him to get a better nap before the play date.
