Libby Slept Through the Night...

AND we've pretty much finished her room.  By "we," I mean Libby's grandmothers of course.  They repainted my old bookshelves and toy box last week and rehung photos so that we could have it all finished!  Except, we do have to add mom's painting of her name over her crib, and a pretty cross stitch birth announcement that Michael's aunt made for her.  I also added cute glass knobs to her chest of drawers so they look a little girly-er.

Yesterday, and today, we had a big day with my cousin Stephanie visiting us from Greenville.  She's having her own second baby girl in early June and we're all very excited about that!  Stephanie is a great photographer and we had several photo shoots during her visit.  Usually Libby isn't very cooperative for photos when a person who's great at photography comes, but she was very good for Stephanie.

And it must have worn her out!  She slept from a few minutes after 11 p.m. last night until 5:30 a.m. this morning.  Of course, I woke up at 5 and started worrying that something was wrong.  But I made myself relax and she started making her little "wake up" noises shortly after that.  We hope tonight is another great, full night of sleep for all of us.  While she has been great about going back to sleep pretty quickly after her middle-of-the-night feeding, it would obviously be great to be able to skip that one from now on.

  1. Oh, Marie! The nursery looks wonderful! I am so glad that everything turned out so beautifully. I can't wait to see it (and Libby, of course) this weekend.
