Pool!

Libby got to experience the pool for the first time on Sunday! 

Mommy ran all over to find the perfect pool for Libby on the perfect day for it!  She and daddy had things to do, but none were TOO pressing (at least I didn’t think so).  I felt like the big neighborhood pool might be too cold, big, loud, etc. for Libby’s first pool experience and I also knew our excursion probably wouldn’t last all that long.  So, a traditional little plastic pool seemed like the answer!  But it wasn’t as easy as that.

What is?

I went to Wal-Mart, but only found a huge one with a slide that would never have fit in my car.  Target only had inflatable baby pools OR the gigantic type that the whole family can fit in.  I found one at Kroger!  (If this seems odd to you, it fits with my opinion as well.) 

Anyway, got it home, plopped it in the back yard in the sun, filled it with water from the hose (probably as cool as the neighborhood pool), let it sit there for a few minutes – but Miss Baby was already up from her nap and we were losing time!  So, we rushed to get her all changed and ready in her adorable ladybug swimsuit!  Dragged the pool into the shade, got the towel, got changed myself, grabbed Libby’s white sun hat, the camera, the video camera and the Bumbo seat to sit her in after we got her in there.   And in we went.
