Greenville and Stuff

Mimi and I got to take the kiddies to Greenville recently, to spend time with my cousin, Stephanie, and her sweet family. Trent, Stephanie, Savannah and Ryleigh were wonderful hosts and playmates for all of us.

Stephanie put together this cute collage from the many photos taken while we were there.

Commissioner stayed behind with Sarah for one night at our house and Michael made it back home the second night. He spent the night nearby the first night we were gone, because he was working in Elberton, Ga. So... he even drove over and met us for dinner out (top left photo.)

The neighborhood pool and playground are basically in the Brummetts back yard - but far enough away for it not to be disruptive at all, but a very short walk and an easy view away! It was perfect for two days worth of pool time, plus playing with all the fun things at their house and playground. Stephanie treated us to gourmet lunches and lovely breakfasts and the night Trent grilled was absolutely amazing. He made lots of grilled veggies, which we love and we had the option of what else. Salmon was the pick and oh-my-gosh did it taste amazing! Whatever the spice rub topping thing on it was, was perfect. And King's Hawaiian rolls - I need some of those (or maybe just need to stay far away!)

Savannah and Stephanie were awesome helps with our sweetie boy, too. And Ryleigh was eager to assist, as well. Matthew found some new girls to love, that's for sure!

And here are a couple of photos of my Aunt Marsha - there's a definite look that is shared with Matthew there.

We did some good "Beauty and the Beast" watching and other fun stuff, too!

Bubble-blowing!

Swinging...

And general merriment.

And before we left, Libby got her first princess dress - a Cinderella one! (Along with too many other sweet and fun goodies.)

Hmm, what is it about photo shoots that don't always go the way you hope?! There's this picture in your head of how it should go... it never does... so you gotta just go with it! There were supposed to be magical bubbles, frolicking, etc. No matter what though, they're cuties!

And there's also gotta be True Love's Kiss!

My sweet little love.

Thanks to Mimi for these photos... which is why she isn't in them. And Mimi- my apologies for not realizing in the moment.

And the babes swapped car seats as of last week! We had to get Libby another one with a harness for my car since she's no where close to 40 pounds yet. But Libby loves her big girl seat AND still having the harness and can buckle herself in now, and Matthew has much more room to relax and stretch out. Of course, his feet do already touch the seat in front of him...

I can hardly believe how big they're getting!
