Clever Title

Sorry- couldn't think of a good title for this post.  It covers a couple of topics.

Just so you know, the photo below is one of Libby's food preferences since she doesn't like ice cream.

Yes, that would be a whole wheat Breton cracker with homemade Sun-dried Tomato Basil Hummus.  Eats it right up and asks for more!  (Along with this semi-spicy white bean dip that I've mentioned before.)  And still no deli meat, hot dog type meat, Velveeta cheese, etc.  Her tastes run more along the lines of Frasier and Niles Crane.

Today, Libby and I did lots of what she wanted to do and I got a lot of other stuff done- house and work - while she napped and had some quiet time.  She even helped me dust!  (Until she used her Swiffer dust brush to clean the toilet water (at least it had just been cleaned during her nap?)).

Anyway, Michael and I are about to be separated from our dearest angel baby girl who makes us laugh or shake our heads in some form of amazement or another, constantly, for many days.  (I'll share more details when it's over.)  I know.  It will be good for all of us, I'm sure.  And Libby will be having the time of her life with her grandparents.  But I'm having a tough time preparing myself mentally.  Wish me luck and think of me often!

And on a special note, Happy 57th Anniversary to my grandparents, Lois and Bobby Riner!  They got married the day after her high school graduation, lived all over the world while he was in the Air Force, eventually made it back to Georgia to be near their families and still live in the same house in Savannah that they bought when they "moved home."  They have truly lived the marriage vows, "for richer, for poorer; in sickness and in health," and are a rock for our family.  We love you SO MUCH, Mema and Boobus!
